How long is the waitlist to get in to be seen? |
You will be scheduled 1-2 weeks from the time of your call. |
How long does it take to receive feedback on testing? |
We offer a debriefing within two weeks of the last testing date. |
Will I receive the testing report at the debriefing? |
You will receive the report at the time of the in person feedback. |

Will you contact other providers involved in my case? |
With your consent, we will communicate and coordinate with all providers, including pediatricians, teachers, OT’s, Speech language therapists, tutors, and other people who have a perspective on your child. |
Will the testing report be reader friendly? |
Our reports are professional and user friendly so that the family walks away with a roadmap for intervention. Our recommendations are extensive, specific, and written to address the needs in the school/work setting, at home, and with other professionals who work with your child. |
Do you offer follow up therapy following testing? |
We offer therapy with full coordination and communication between the assessor and treating therapist. |
Is the testing always done in one day? |
Depending on the needs of your child and family, we complete testing in one day or over a period of different sessions to avoid fatigue. We accommodate your schedules. |
Do you have access to a wide array of current testing measures? |
We have a full range of testing measures to understand cognitive and emotional issues at different ages and to address unique concerns. |
Is the environment child-friendly? |
We provide an extremely family friendly environment that allows children to feel comfortable. |
How many cases does the clinician work with at one time? |
Our clinicians are dedicated to personalized service and are never overbooked or juggling too many cases at one time. |
Do you use a standard battery for all cases? |
We custom design a battery of tests, behavioral observations, and interviewing to fully understand the nuances and complexities of each child or adult. |
How thorough is the testing? |
For a comprehensive assessment, some agencies or schools only have resources for 3-4 hours of testing, while our process is upwards of 20 hours including face to face time, interpretation, writing, and feedback |

Who administers the testing? Do you use technicians? |
All clinicians have doctoral degrees in psychology. The clinician administers, interprets, writes, and provides feedback. We do not use technicians. |
Who will answer questions about the testing/therapy process? A clinician or administrative person? |
In order to provide direct and quality care, you will only be served by our clinical staff, and not administrative assistants. |
Is it possible to have testing and therapy done together? |
You can meet with two MindWell clinicians simultaneously for both a therapy and assessment intake. The clinicians will work together to coordinate services. |
If therapy is indicated, will your clinicians communicate the test results and recommendations to the treating psychologist?
