Dr. Christina Ralph is a licensed clinical psychologist with a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Louisville. She specializes in comprehensive psychological assessments of learning disabilities, ADHD, pervasive developmental disorders, and emotional/ behavioral disorders. Dr. Ralph's clinical interests and expertise in therapy are in treating anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and depression.
Dr. Ralph has worked in a variety of settings and has gained competency treating a wide range of psychological issues. While pursuing her degree, she worked as a licensed outpatient therapist at Acute Child Psychiatric Services, a specialized crisis unit focused on providing intensive individual and family therapy to children and adolescents presenting with suicidal, homicidal and severe aggressive behaviors. She also conducted psychological and neuropsychological evaluations with children, adolescents and adults at the Buchholz Psychological Services Center and Memory Assessment Center.
Dr. Ralph completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at the Lexington Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, with rotations in the Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Unit and the Inpatient Unit. She received additional training in psychological assessment and therapy with veterans dealing with chronic pain, substance abuse, and other mental health issues.
She completed her postdoctoral training at Communicare Behavioral Health conducting psychological evaluations and providing individual and family therapy to individuals presenting with issues ranging from mild adjustment to severe mental illness. Dr. Ralph also served as an adjunct faculty member at Midway College. Professional memberships include the American Psychological Association and the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
